The leaves are changing and the air is getting cooler. You can almost smell winter already! For us over at Indy TV Repair that means one thing, FOOTBALL! If you are like us we all like to get together on Sundays at Bill’s house because he has the big TV! However, what happens if Bill’s TV is on the Fritz the day of the game! Don’t worry, this can be fixed. Let the professionals over at Indy TV come do a diagnosis on your TV before the big game. Let our certified electrical bench technician fix the issue before it becomes a bigger problem. There is a good chance it can be repaired and you won’t have to replace the entire TV! We service Indianapolis and the surrounding areas and we know the importance of having a working TV, especially during football season. Let’s talk about a few recent repairs we have done.
One day a customer of Indy TV repair was watching TV when all of the sudden he lost Audio on his 42” Sony (KDL 55ex501). He immediately started Googling the issue and attempting to diagnose the problem himself. He was able to come to the conclusion that he needed several new parts that would end up costing him close to half the price of his TV. Instead of just ordering and replacing the parts we recommended that he let us diagnose the issue. After our Electrical engineer took a look at the TV he was unable to replicate the issue. As it turns out, the issue at hand was actually due to a bad audio cable running from his Bose Surround Sound receiver to the audio output on his Television. He was able to replace the cable for under $20 and thanks to Indy TV repair saved hundreds on unnecessary replacement parts!
The next recent customer I would like to discuss had an issue with powering on their TV. One day it just wouldn’t turn on. The green LED Indicator was lighting up but nothing would happen on the screen. It was a Sony Plasma 46” TV. Our engineers discovered the TV not only had a bad power supply but also the AU board was fried. We were able to get it fixed within 2 days and for only a fraction of the price it would have been for him to have to replace the entire TV!
Of course it is inevitable that technology will eventually fail. It is our job to step in and make sure you do not overpay to get your device back where it needs to be! For more information or to schedule a diagnosis or service call. Please contact us online or call 317.472.4243.
