We recently had a couple bring in their Vizio M5505L TV to have the Coax repaired. The TV was mounted very low to the wall in a kid’s playroom. They decided to move the TV and were unable to get their hands behind the TV to unscrew the Coax and tried to take it off the wall to be able to get to it. This actually caused them to accidentally rip the Coax connector from the main board of the TV and bend an input as well! Fortunately our certified electrical bench technician is a master of repairing just about any electronic out there. He was able to disassemble the entire TV and re-solder the connector back to the Main Board. The input was bent so far over it actually needed to be replaced as well. All of this done within 2 business days and for only a fraction of the cost it would have been to replace the TV. The moral of the story, always provide enough slack to remove the TV so you can get behind it to unplug everything when you need to. Being conscious of this will save them money in the future.
